As you all know by now, I'm a huge fan of all things related to the ocean.  I've spent countless hours with my keikis (kay-keys: kids, children, offspring, brats) combing the beaches for shells, beachglass, and other treasures that the ocean has washed up for me.

Most of the items we collect end up getting lost and forgotten - or thrown around the yard - but my girl Ashley takes these little treasures and turns them into something even more amazing!

Aloha!  I'm Ashley Lau, creator of Shell High!  I am a 23 year old mother of two wonderful kids living on the beautiful island of O'ahu, Hawai'i.  I started making jewelry because I needed something to do where I could still be home with my babies (since childcare is so expensive these days).  And since going to the beach and diving for shells is my most favorite thing to do, what better than incorporate them into my jewelry, and let everyone have a little taste of Hawai'i.
