Hooray for Monday!
No? Okay then.
Anyway, so for today's post I thought I'd introduce you to a new product called NeriumAD.
I was actually given this product by my sister to try out a couple weeks ago.
Before trying it out, I thought I'd do some research first (aka Google it) and find some other reviews on it.
Unfortunately, most of the reviews I found were paid/sponsored reviews or just information on the business opportunity Nerium has.
That being said, I thought I'd do an honest to goodness review of it for you.
NeriumAD claims to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, skin texture and aging or sun-damaged skin.
The retail price on this bad boy is about $110.00 per bottle. Crazy, right?
I mean, for that price, it better make my face sweat pure gold!
But sadly, that is not one of the benefits that Nerium provides.
Anyway, so the directions say you're supposed to apply this to your face every night before you go to bed and then wash it off in the morning.
So last night, I did just that.
The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smells AWFUL. I literally had to hold my breath while putting this on because it smelled so horrible. After a while it got better and started to smell more like a cucumber mask, but when you first put this on your face, BEWARE! You may end up gagging.
After it was fully massaged into my skin I could immediately feel my skin tighten up and it left no residue behind.
When I woke up this morning, my skin was still tight and I was surprised that the product lasted all night long despite my usual tossing and turning (and perhaps a bit of slobbering).
So I'm going to try using this product for a week to see what results (if any) I get from it.
But for now, I leave you with my horrendous "Before" picture.
As you can see I've got sun spots, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and horrible hair.
Okay, so I can't fix the last problem with Nerium, but maybe I should try Wen for that?
