It's been a long while since I've done a beauty post and I'm really excited to share this product with you. Now, all those who know me in real life will tell you that I'm kind of a beauty whore. I've been obsessed with beauty products, makeup, nail polish, perfumes, and all that other girly stuff since I was little. I am constantly buying different random products to try out and if you were to open my medicine cabinet you'd find proof of that.
I had never really given a thought to anti-wrinkle/anti-aging type products until just a few years ago. One of my favorite and first beauty gurus, Michelle Phan, mentioned that she used anti-aging products since she was younger to prevent signs of aging and wrinkles before she got older. Her skin looks frikken amazing.
I was given an opportunity to try out the Gold Elements Truffles Infusion Eye Cream and I jumped at the chance. I had never heard of Gold Elements before and even though I love discovering new products, I was skeptical about how effective it would be. I checked out their website for more information and I found the product description:
The ultimate luxury in age defying treatments specifically designed for the
delicate eye area. Our truffle infusion provides a mega dose of minerals,
moisturizing, strengthening, and nourishing ingredients and is the cream’s
core strength, with innovative technology to help promote luxurious
resilience, smoothness and radiance for a vibrant, lifted, youthful look.

Now, when I first received the product I was pretty much blown away by just the packaging alone.
I received the product itself along with a Gold Elements shopping bag, product booklet, as well as a letter from the company thanking me for taking the time to test out their product. Of all the other brands and sponsors I've worked with, I've never had a package that awesome.
That evening, after I had showered and cleaned my face, I applied the eye cream per the directions on the box and as I started rubbing the cream into my skin I felt a warming sensation which was brought on by the gold in the cream. Once my skin had absorbed the product, I could feel and see the difference in my eye area immediately. My skin felt tighter and looked firmer than it had been just minutes before. It was like I got an eye lift.
I ran my finger over the area and my skin already felt softer and smoother. You know when you swipe your finger over a balloon and it bounces right back into shape? I call that the "boing" effect. Well, my eye area had that "boing" effect going on right after I applied the eye cream. I shit you not.
I've tried other eye creams in the past, but none as fast-acting and as effective as this one. I've been using the cream every night since I got it and I frikken LOVE it. The only negative thing (which really isn't so bad) I would have to say about it is that it does have a scent which might irritate sensitive skin types but thankfully it's not an issue for me.
And now for the moment you've been waiting for, Gold Elements is offering one of you lucky Frikken Duckie readers a chance to win your own little pot of gold! Get on it, because you know you want it!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Looks like a great product. Ive been meaning to try an eye cream! My fave beauty products would have to be anything for my lips. I have big lips so depending on what my lip looks like eg if I change colour, what I use on it (gloss, liner, lipstick) etc my entire face can look diff!

ReplyDeleteThat is some fancy stuff right there! I thought about not entering but then I was like... why not? My golden product would have to be mascara. Not any particular brand either. I have really long eyelashes but for some reason you can't tell at all unless I have on mascara. I'll be doing a giveaway soon and I want to see your face there :)
ReplyDeleteWell shit...I was going to say body glitter!
ReplyDeleteI would say my holy grail beauty product is They're Real mascara from Benefits.
A must use every day for me is eye cream, but I haven't found one I love yet. Maybe it is this one?!
I've been wanting to try an eye cream. I love the packaging!
ReplyDeleteArbonne lifting gel
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand body glitter! haha but my best product that I have used would be the baby lips products. I really like them because they moisturize my lips but also add color to them and it stays on my lips pretty long. :)
ReplyDeleteooh i do need a new eye cream but i do have super sensitive skin around my eyes and scents normally make me sneeze. yeah, im weird.

ReplyDeleteEOS hands down. Best product ever. My lips don't feel as dried out as with chapstick even though they are all a big lip chapped conspiracy! lol
ReplyDeleteBody glitter.............LOL...............I love a good makeup primer and the one from Arbonne goes on silky smooth.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's not body glitter! I would have to go with Laneige BB Cushion - it was a miracle worker!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to admit that although body glitter was a close second, the Mary Kay liquid almost powder make up concealer is my fave! and if you ask me for the name, I'll give it to you once I find my purse in the bottom of my suitcase. thanks!
ReplyDeleteAndie's Traveling Pants
My favorite is L'Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream. It helps hide my under eye circles and freckles. Thanks.
