Don't you wish that you could be

a fly on the wall?

Of my house?

Not that I have a lot of flies visiting.

Err, unless the kids leave the door open.

Anyway,

if you were a fly on the wall in my house this month, you would have:

  • Seen me perform my "skinny jeans dance" while Joey rolls his eyes and tells me to buy jeans that actually fit me - then abruptly shuts up when I fix him with my evil Korean glare.
  • Been amazed at Trace's creativity as he drew a huge circle on my BEDROOM WALL with a brand new, not-even-out-of-the-box-yet, MAC lipstick.
  • Heard the blood curdling screams coming from the bathroom where I was trying to get Trace to shower - why are boys so difficult when it comes to cleanliness?
  • Shook your head when we discovered the cause of the mysterious bites all over Aniyah's chest and back - a piece of candy stuck to the blanket.  Busted.
  • Tried to stage an intervention because of Trace's addiction to lying when he kept insisting that it was Aniyah who sprayed the air freshener, Chloe who spilled the popcorn, and both Aniyah and Chloe who left his toys in the yard - and the girls were in SCHOOL during each instance.
  • Watched me stuff my chubby face with pizza + garlic butter last night and salami + cheddar cheese the night before - straight from their packages like a gangster.  I still smell like a fat, greasy, Italian man.  Don't judge me.

And, if you were a fly on the wall of my house this month,

you could have at least warned me before Trace dropped the entire cup of fruit punch onto the floor while I was writing this post.

Sheesh.
